CBRE: Middle East investment in Paris of USD2.2bn in 2014 – No.2 destination

According to CBRE’s ‘In and Out 2015’ review of cross-border investment in commercial real estate, Qatar was the most important source of outbound investment from the Middle East in 2014. Investors based in that country accounted for USD4.9bn out of around USD14bn last year. Investors based in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Kuwait accounted for investment of USD2.3bn, USD1.6bn and USD0.7bn respectively.  For all Middle East based investors in real estate outside the region, Paris was the second most important destination, receiving USD2.2bn or so.
