CBRE: Office space net absorption of 125,000 square metres in Mexico City in 4Q15

In its 4Q15 review of the office markets of Latin America, CBRE noted that net absorption of prime office space in Mexico City during the quarter amounted to 125,000 square metres. The average vacancy rate was 11.0%. Across the 11 cities in the region that were surveyed by CBRE, net absorption during the quarter amounted to 380,000 square metres and the average vacancy rate was 13.9%. In relation to the prime office market in Mexico City over 2015 as a whole, CBRE highlighted the supply of over 840,000 square metres of space, or about one fifth of the total inventory at the end of 2014.
