CBRE: prime office occupancy costs in Manchester rise by 9.4% in year to September 2015

In its latest review of global prime occupancy costs, ‘Office space gets pricier as global economy edges up’, CBRE noted that Manchester was in 5th position in its ranking of centres by increases in local currency occupancy costs. Occupancy costs in Manchester increased by 9.4%. With September 2015 occupancy costs of US$74.99 per square foot per annum, Manchester was by that measure the 30th most expensive centre overall. Manchester rose by four places in CBRE’s ranking of the most expensive centres over the six months to September 2015.
