According to CBRE’s ‘In and Out 2015’ review of cross-border investment in commercial real estate, Middle Eastern Investors have generally focused on Europe and the Americas, investing little in the Asia Pacific. 2014 was no exception, with less than USD1bn out of  total outwards investment from the Middle East of USD14bn or so going to the Asia Pacific. In that region, the favoured destination was Seoul, which received USD472mn in Middle East-sourced investment. Seoul was the seventh most important destination by that measure.
