According to DTZ’s Property Times, some 100,000 square metres of retail space were added to Chongqing’s market during 2Q15, with the opening of Oriental International Plaza. This project lifts the total stock of prime retail space in the city to 2,561,000 square metres. Oriental International Plaza is the first (very) high-end shopping centre in the Jiangbeizui sub-market.
