DTZ: Prices in Nanjing’s mass residential market up 31.6% y-o-y in May.
According to DTZ’s Property Times, values in Nanjing’s mass residential market stood at CNY15,489 per square metre in May, having risen by 31.6% y-o-y. Values in the high end (non-serviced) apartment and villa markets stood at CNY27,784/ square metre and CNY24,979/square metre respectively. Over the eight weeks to 21 June, there was new supply of about 52,000 square metres of apartment space and just over 35,000 square metres of villa space. Looking forward, DTZ notes that there remains a large inventory of unsold property in Nanjing.
