DTZ: Surge in supply of grade A office space in Xiamen likely in 2H15


According to DTZ’s Property Times, new supply of office space in the Cross-Straits Trade Centre sub-market in 2H15 should amount to 285,000 square metres (in the context of total stock across the city as a whole of 470,000 square metres. Except in the Lujiang Road sub-market, rents rose in 2Q15. Looking forward, DTZ expects that the new supply will cause rents to soften in the eastern sub-markets. They should remain stable in the western sub-markets.
