According to DTZ’s Property Times, some 322,000 square metres of new retail space will be made available in the Chongqing market through 2H15.  However, DTZ anticipates that the overall vacancy rate will remain stable due to continued growth in retail sales. Sales of consumer goods in the city in the first five months of 2015 were 11.3% higher than in the previous corresponding period, according to DTZ.
