The latest Global Financial Centres Index published by the Qatar Finance Centre Authority and Long Finance (GFCI 17) found that Seoul has become the seventh most competitive financial centre globally, having been eighth in late 2014. Its overall rating of 718 out of 1,000 (up 3) puts it marginally behind Zurich (whose overall rating rose by 2 to 719.
