Lausanne-based business school  IMD said that, in its 2015 World Competitiveness Ranking, both Hong Kong and Singapore have improved their relative positions, overtaking Switzerland. The United States remains the most competitive country assessed ‘as a result of its strong business efficiency and financial sector, its innovation drive and the effectiveness of its infrastructure.’
