JLL: Demand for grade A office space in Cairo shifts to satellite cities

In its latest Global Office Index (2Q15) publication, Jones Lang LaSalle IP (JLL) noted that grade A office rents in Cairo fell by 14.3% in 2Q15. By this measure, Cairo was the worst performing of the 95 markets monitored globally. Over the year to 2Q15, grade A office rents in Cairo fell by 14.3%, and the market was in 91st place by that measure. JLL attributed the fall in rents to a shift by tenants to new premises in the satellite cities of Cairo.
