JLL: Hotel occupancy rate in Melbourne is 86.0%

In its October 2015 report ‘Hotel Destinations Asia Pacific’, the Hotel & Hospitality Group of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) noted that Melbourne had received 0.7mn international visitors in the first three months of 2015. In 2015, 226 hotel rooms have been built. In the overall hotel market, the occupancy rate has been 86.0%. The average daily rate has been USD158. The revenue per available room (RevPAR) has been USD136. Upcoming hotels include the QT Hotel Development, the Four Points by Sheraton Development, the Ritz Carlton Melbourne and the Nauru House Development.
