JLL: Hotel occupancy rate in Mumbai is 71.2%

In its October 2015 report ‘Hotel Destinations Asia Pacific’, the Hotel & Hospitality Group of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) noted that Mumbai had received 6.9mn international visitors in the first seven months of 2015. In 2015, 1,007 hotel rooms have been built. In the luxury hotel market, the occupancy rate has been 71.2%. The average daily rate has been USD138. The revenue per available room (RevPAR) has been USD98. New notable hotels include the JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, the St Regis Mumbai and the Ginger Hotel at Thane.
