JLL: Hotel occupancy rate in Sydney is 87.3%

In its October 2015 report ‘Hotel Destinations Asia Pacific’, the Hotel & Hospitality Group of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) noted that Sydney had received 3.1mn international visitors in the first six months of 2015. In 2015, 367 hotel rooms have been built. In the overall hotel market, the occupancy rate has been 87.3%. The average daily rate has been USD180. The revenue per available room (RevPAR) has been USD157. New notable hotels include the Tank Stream and the 57 Hotel Surry Hills.
