JLL: London is ranked 1st in Investment Intensity Index of March 2016

In March 2016, JLL published its latest Investment Intensity Index, which looks at the volume of direct real estate investment over a three year period (in this case, to the end of 2015) relative to that city’s current economic size. JLL noted that the ranking of the top 20 cities by that measure include numerous, smaller, innovation rich cities in transparent markets such as Stockholm, Dublin, Austin and Brisbane. In terms of absolute investment over the period, though, London is ranked 1st, having received investment of around USD130bn. London is ranked 1st in terms of its Investment Intensity Index.
