JLL: San Francisco in overall 10 place in City Momentum Index (CMI) ranking

In its third annual City Momentum Index (CMI) ranking, Jones Lang LaSalle found that San Francisco was the city that, overall, has the 10th most dynamic urban economy and that is adapting most rapidly to technological and infrastructural transformation. The CMI analysis considers 37 variables across 10 topics in relation to socio-economic momentum, commercial real estate momentum and ‘high-value incubators (higher education facilities, patent applications etc.). Transformational projects and policies underway in San Francisco that were highlighted by JLL included the extension of Caltrain to Downtown and the Transbay Terminal redevelopment (including the 306m Salesforce Tower)
