Jones Lang LaSalle IP noted in its Retail Index report for 1Q15 that retail rents in Singapore’s Orchard Road/District 9 area were USD4,305 per square metre per annum. By this measure, rents were down 0.1% q-o-q and 0.6% y-o-y. JLL highlighted weak business sentiment, lower number of visitors and slippage in retail sales.
