Logistics real estate seen as key to property recovery

THE real estate sector has shown considerable resilience amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic. Within this sector, the logistics real estate - considered the most stable of real estate assets - is at the forefront, according to leading developer and operator of industrial parks Ayalaland Logistics Holdings Corp. (ALLHC).

If trade and commerce is the lifeblood of the economy, "logistics is its circulatory system," said Patrick John Avila, head of Industrial Parks and Real Estate Logistics Business at ALLHC during an online general assembly of the Guild of Real Estate Entrepreneurs and Professionals Inc. (Greenpro) on July 28.
