Savills: 940,800 square metres of office space taken up in Berlin in 2015

Savills’ February 2016 report on the main office markets of Germany noted that, across the six largest markets, some 3,316,758 square metres of space was taken up in 2015. Berlin accounted for 940,800 square metres, an increase of 20.3% relative to 2014. As of 3Q15, the office vacancy rate in Berlin was 3.6%, or unchanged relative to in 2Q15. Prime rents in Berlin were EUR24.30 per square metre per month, up 1.3% relative to 2Q15. Average rents were 0.7% higher at EUR14.80 per square metre per month.
