The UAE trademark office has implemented a 33% reduction in the official fee which applies at the registration stage of a trademark application.

An equivalent percentage reduction has now been applied to the official fee for trademark renewals as well.

There is a wider range of options available to enforce trademark rights against others, and greater control is given to trademark holders for usage of marks.
