ULI: Dresden’s Prager Zeile a good example of a redevelopment of an existing building.

In its research paper, ‘The Density Dividend: solutions for growing and shrinking cities’, the Urban Land Institute (ULI) examines the tactical issues involved with the boosting of population density. This outcome requires collaboration with surrounding municipalities, a change of mindset in suburbs and, perhaps most importantly, the finding of the correct locations and the application of a mix of solutions in different locations. In Dresden, ULI highlights the Prager Zeile apartment complex as a very effective example of the redevelopment of an existing building.
