ULI: Warsaw faces density challenges and opportunities of a bounce-back city.

TrendTracker_2

A research paper by the Urban Land Institute (ULI), ‘The Density Dividend: solutions for growing and shrinking cities’, explains how six major European cities can solve strategic challenges by managing population density. Warsaw is seen a bounce-back city: its major challenge is to attract new economy firms in order to attract greater numbers of workers. Its current density profile is described as being low. There are pockets of medium-density population in the inner city. However, there is widespread dependence on private cars and congestion is often a problem.
