ULI: Warsaw’s Zachodnia station a good example of intensification of transport interchanges

In its research paper, ‘The Density Dividend: solutions for growing and shrinking cities’, the Urban Land Institute (ULI) examines the tactical issues involved with the boosting of population density. This outcome requires collaboration with surrounding municipalities, a change of mindset in suburbs and, perhaps most importantly, the finding of the correct locations and the application of a mix of solutions in different locations. In Warsaw, ULI highlights the Warszawa Zachodnia station as a very effective example of an intensification of urban interchanges.
