According to the Luxury Real Estate Report 2015 published by Sotheby’s and Wealth-X,  the average UHNWI property owner in Los Angeles is 58. Just under one quarter derive their fortunes from media, sports and entertainment. 75% are self-made. They have median net worth of US$105mn. The attractions include ease of access to luxurious amenities appropriate to UHNWI lifestyles. The top country for foreign owners is the UK.
