According to the Luxury Real Estate Report 2015 published by Sotheby’s and Wealth-X,  the average UHNWI property owner in Paris is 62. Some 16% derive their fortunes from textiles, apparel and luxury goods. 53% are self-made. They have median net worth of US$150mn. The attractions of Paris include very low mortgage interest rates and a more diversified UHNWI community than London, which is dominated by financial services leaders. The top country for foreign owners is China.
