According to the Luxury Real Estate Report 2015 published by Sotheby’s and Wealth-X,  the average UHNWI property owner in San Francisco is 56. One quarter derive their fortunes from technology. 83% are self-made. They have median net worth of US$110mn. The attractions include the lower prices of luxury properties. The top countries for foreign owners are the UK, India and Australia.
