According to the World Economic Forum’s bi-annual Global Travel & Tourism Report 2015, Egypt is the second most price competitive travel and tourism destination. However, the political instability has constrained the country’s tourist appeal and has contributed to a low security and safety rating (136 globally). Egypt is ranked 23^rd for its investments in travel and tourism.
