According to the World Economic Forum’s bi-annual Global Travel & Tourism Report 2015, the UAE is the most competitive centre in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) and the 24^th globally. ‘It has created extremely effective branding campaigns (1^st) and an enabling business environment … with strides in travel facilitation and the liberalisation of the visa regime (30^th). … Improvements could be made in terms of health and hygiene services (69^th).
