Z-Yen’s 18^th and latest semi-annual Global Financial Centre Index report found that Dalian is one of a number of centres whose relative and absolute importance has risen sharply through the middle of this year. Globally, Dalian is in 41^st place with 660 out of 1,000 points.  Since March, its ranking has risen by 10 places and its rating has increased by 28 points.
