In its third annual City Momentum Index (CMI) ranking, Jones Lang LaSalle found that Bangalore was the city that, overall, has the fourth most dynamic urban economy and that is adapting most rapidly to technological and infrastructural transformation. The CMI analysis considers 37 variables across 10 topics in relation to socio-economic momentum, commercial real estate momentum and ‘high-value incubators (higher education facilities, patent applications etc.). Transformational projects and policies underway in Bangalore that were highlighted by JLL included the extension of the Namma Metro and the development of the Industrial Corridors to Chennai and Mumbai.
