GFCI 17: Mexico City’s competitiveness as international financial centre down

  The latest Global Financial Centres Index published by the Qatar Finance Centre Authority and Long Finance (GFCI 17) found that Mexico City’s overall rating has fallen by 29 to 623/1,000 since late 2014. Its ranking has fallen 12 places to 56th globally. In global terms, Mexico City’s competitiveness is similar to that of Jersey (54th place), Guernsey (55th), Jakarta (57th), the Isle of Man (58th) and Monaco (59th).
