According to DTZ’s Property Times, some 427,000 square metres of medium- to high- end retail space is to be added to the Xiamen market through 2H15. Examples include the Paragon Center Phase II, E-Mall in Shimao International Plaza, W Square and the themed shopping centre Minan Town. DTZ notes that the new stock will make the retailing scene in Xiamen more diversified. Currently, there is 1,733,000 square metres of retail space in Xiamen.
