CBRE: prime office occupancy costs in Shanghai rise by 9.2% in year to September 2015

In its latest review of global prime occupancy costs, ‘Office space gets pricier as global economy edges up’, CBRE noted that Shanghai’s Pudong district was in 7th position in its ranking of centres by increases in local currency occupancy costs. Occupancy costs in Shanghai’s Pudong district increased by 9.2%. With September 2015 occupancy costs of US$134.86 per square foot per annum, Shanghai’s Pudong District was by that measure the 9th most expensive centre overall.
