In its report ‘Global Luxury Retail 2015’, CBRE noted that Taipei is the equal seventh most luxurious city globally. Some 73% of all luxury brands have a presence there. In 2013, 73% of brands could be found in Taipei. Some 23% of luxury and business fashion brands are targeting Taiwan for expansion in 2015. By this measure, Taiwan is seen as the equal eighth most prospective of the 10 national/ territory markets profiled by CBRE. Six new luxury and business fashion brands opened a new store in Taipei in 2014.
