Colliers: Total stock of Class A office space in Istanbul up 6.50% in 2Q15


Colliers International noted that the total ‘speculative’ stock of Class A office space in the nine sub-markets of Istanbul amounted to 2.43mn square metres at the end of 2Q15, or 6.5% more than three months previously. The overall vacancy rate was 24.4%, varying between 0.00% in Altunizade and 36.6% in Kozyatagi/Atasehir. Average rents ranged from USD13.4 per square metre per day in Bati-West (near the Atatürk International Airport) to USD35.5 per square metre per day in Istanbul’s CBD.
