According to DTZ’s Property Times, there is some uncertainty over the timing of openings of new retail projects in the Chengdu market through 2H15. This is due to general upgrading of property and heightened competition following the opening of the Taikoo Li and IFS complexes. DTZ notes that some projects between the first and second ring roads have experienced high vacancy rates.
