According to DTZ’s Property Times, warehouse rents in Shenzhen rose by 4% in 2Q15 to CNY43.9 per square metre per month. At the end of June, total warehouse space in the city amounted to just over 800,000 square metres. Demand for space has been boosted by the general growth in the logistics industry and, in particular, by official policies that support the development of e-commerce.
