DTZ: Warehouse vacancy space to rise in Shanghai in coming months.

TrendTracker_2

According to DTZ’s Property Times, around 1.1mn square metres of grade A warehouse space will become available by 2017. Three quarters of this is expected to be completed by the end of 2015. DTZ is looking for the warehouse/logistic vacancy rate to rise slightly from the current 7%. Growth in third party logistics (3PL) and e-commerce businesses is expected to roughly offset the impact of the more general economic stagnation. DTZ thinks that rents will remain stable.
