In its latest Global Office Index (2Q15) publication, Jones Lang LaSalle IP (JLL) noted that Charlotte was the market that achieved the third largest rise globally of the 95 markets monitored in terms of grade A office rents (up 14.9%) over the year to 2Q15. Rents in that market rose by 0.6% in 2Q15 alone. Other US markets which achieved good rental growth over the year included Boston (14^th ranked and up 8.4%) and Austin (15^th ranked and up 8.2%).
