JLL: Hotel occupancy rate in Kuala Lumpur is 64.6%

In its October 2015 report ‘Hotel Destinations Asia Pacific’, the Hotel & Hospitality Group of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) noted that Kuala Lumpur had received 6.5mn international visitors in the first three months of 2015. In 2015, 1,709 hotel rooms have been built. In the luxury and upscale hotel market, the occupancy rate has been 64.6%. The average daily rate has been USD132. The revenue per available room (RevPAR) has been USD85. New notable hotels include the Fraser Residence and the D’Majestic by Swiss Garden.
