JLL: Hotel occupancy rate in Maldives is 63.5%

In its October 2015 report ‘Hotel Destinations Asia Pacific’, the Hotel & Hospitality Group of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) noted that the Maldives had received 0.7mn international visitors in the first seven months of 2015. In 2015, 334 hotel rooms have been built. In the overall hotel market, the occupancy rate has been 63.5%. The average daily rate has been USD792. The revenue per available room (RevPAR) has been USD503. New notable hotels include the Amilla Finolhu, the Loama Resort Maldives at Maamigili and the Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort.
