In its Retail Focus Research Report for Autumn of 2015, Knight Frank (KF) noted that the Mall of the World, when it is completed, will have Gross Lettable Area (GLA) roughly equal to one quarter of the current stock. Super-regional malls account for just over one half of the total retail space in Dubai. New developments are focusing on regional and community retail projects, which account for about one eighth of total retail space.
