According to the World Economic Forum’s bi-annual Global Travel & Tourism Report 2015, Bahrain is the third most competitive centre in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) and the 60th globally. It is assessed as being on par with the UAE (the regional leader) in terms of ICT readiness and is ahead of fourth ranked Morocco in terms of each of the five enabling ‘environment pillars’ other than safety and security.
