According to the World Economic Forum’s bi-annual Global Travel & Tourism Report 2015, Singapore is the 11^th most competitive centre globally. ‘Singapore has taken the necessary measures related to international openness (1^st) to ensure the seamless arrival of international visitors and has strong ground (2^nd) and air (6^th) transport infrastructure.’ The main challenge is that Singapore is not a very price-competitive destination (116^th).
